Dental nursing may be your true vocation, especially if you enjoy working with people, are empathetic and looking for a long-term career with great prospects.
Bhandal Dental Practice is looking to train and nurture the right candidates and would like to invite you to our next Career Open Evening on Thursday 25th October at the Foleshill Practice.
Interested? Please register your interest by emailing sarah@bhandaldentistry.co.uk with your full contact details – we look forward to welcoming you.
Our training programmes are free to all successful candidates and you’ll receive good pay for your working hours.
This exciting role is full time and will include on-the job training with our existing dental nurses to learn how to effectively support our highly qualified dentists, orthodontists, cosmetic dentists and dental therapists.
Classroom learning away from the dental surgery will encompass a professional college course to equip you with technical dental knowledge and customer care training.
You’ll be part of a friendly and proactive team.
You will be responsible for making NHS and private patients feel welcome and at ease during their appointment, which may be a standard check-up or a complex treatment.
You will support our dentists with their procedures before, during and after each appointment to include:
It is essential that you have a caring and compassionate nature and are able to make people feel at ease.
It’ll help if you’re outgoing but other than that, as long as you have GCSE's in Maths and English, Grade C or above, then we are looking to speak to you.
After completing the dental nursing course, several avenues of dentistry would become available to you. Many nurses progress with a course in radiography or undertake further learning to become orthodontic therapists or dental therapists – the choice really is yours if you show willing and hard work.
Training as a dental nurse at Bhandal Dental Practice is extremely rewarding. When you play a part in relieving a patient from pain, helping them to feel comfortable and to smile with confidence once again. There’s nothing quite like it…

Read moreI had my lower wisdom tooth removed. To say that I was a nervous patient was an understatement. The dentist was very understanding and explained the process in stages where I could ask questions. Even though I was really panicking inside the staff had a true sense of calm and the tooth removal was quick and uneventful. I originally wanted sedation but felt confident to go without. The aftercare information was very useful. I experienced a first class service here!
