Amrik qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 1983 from University of Birmingham and has worked at our Foleshill Road surgery since qualifying. Working with his own team of Dental Therapists and Nurses Amrik provides both general and cosmetic dentistry including tooth coloured fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges and dental implants. He specialises in Minor Oral Surgery and is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons.
Manjeet graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2011. Following a year on Vocational Training he joined the Bhandal Dental Practice in 2012. Manjeet provides a wide range of general dentistry hoping he makes all of his patients experience of visiting the dentist as stress free as possible.
Manminderjit is 32 years of age and has nine years experience as a Dentist with the Bhandal Dental Practices. He cares for a wide range of patients of all ages and specializes in the care of nervous patients providing intravenous sedation where necessary. He is also very experienced in many other areas of dentistry including root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry NHS and Private treatment. Manminderjit is very patient and very understanding towards all of his patients.
Chetan qualified in 2004 and has worked at the Bhandal Dental Practices for the last 6 years. Qualified in implant dentistry from the royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh & specialises in complex implant dentistry. He has completed his diploma in Orthodontics at Warwick University and is now pursuing his MSc in Orthodontics. Chetan has special interests in Cosmetic dentistry, Smile Makeovers, Braces and Implant dentistry. He has attended numerous conferences and workshops Nationally and Internationally. Chetan specialises in Cad-Cam dentistry, single visit crowns and impression less bridges.
GDC registration No. 119472 – Jim qualified as a dental surgeon from University of Calicut in 1998. He further pursued a three year full time post-graduate training in Periodontics specialising in dealing with gum diseases at Madras Dental College and was awarded Master of Dental Science in Periodontics in 2001. After passing GDC's registration exam Jim has been working as a General Dental Practitioner with special interest in Periodontics at the Bhandal Dental Practices. He is currently undergoing post-graduate training in Master of Science in Endodontics (speciality dealing with Root Canal treatment) at Warwick University.
Bunny joined the Bhandal Dental Surgery in 2007. She practices all types of general dentistry covering a full range of treatments from simple fillings to the complex dental procedures. Bunny prides herself on providing a reassuring, comfortable and caring environment for all her patients.
Robert qualified in 2008 from the University of Bristol. He has been working at the Bhandal Dental Practice since completing his year in vocational training in 2009 and provides both NHS and Private treatment to a very high standard. Robert is very committed in providing an excellent service to his patients and has a natural ability to help patients feel at ease. Robert is currently working towards his MJDF qualification which will gain him a fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Atul began his career as a dentist in Mumbai (India) before moving to England to work with the Bhandal Dental Practices. Atul has gone on to develop a strong reputation for leading edge cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments, orthodontics and CEREC technology expertise. This is backed by his on- going post graduate studies. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and is a fan of Cricket, Football and Table Tennis
Puneeta has been practicing as a dentist for over 10 years and has been with the Bhandal Dental Practices for the last six years. She has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, attaining a 1 year course at Advanced Dental Seminar in London. Puneeta is also a member of the British Dental Association and has also attained MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons (London)
Salima graduated from the University of Bristol in 2001. She then went onto work in General Dental Practice where she developed a keen interest in Orthodontics. Following this she undertook several training posts in including Oral and Maxilofacial Surgery and paediatric dentistry. During this time she obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She then undertook specialist training in Orthodontics in Manchester and was awarded Master of Philosophy (Orthodontics) and obtained a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. She is entered in the General Dental Councils Specialist Register for orthodontics. She has considerable specialist practice experience having worked in a number of well established specialist orthodontic practices.
Following her specialist training in Orthodontics she then carried out pre-consultant training in the West Midlands where she gained further experience particularly in complex cases and obtained her Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2012. This involved specialising in complex cases requiring orthodontics in combination with surgery to the jaws, orthodontics in combination with implants and restorative treatment and also treatment of patients with clefts of the lip and palate.
Salima has a keen interest in adult Orthodontics, multi-disciplinary treatment and the use of aesthetic braces, and contemporary orthodontic appliances.
Lucy qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2010 as a Dental Hygiene Therapist and joined the Bhandal Dental Practice following graduation. Lucy enjoys working with a wide variety of people including nervous patients and children and is fully qualified in the administration of RA Sedation. She has undertaken courses in composite restorations and enjoys seeing the end result.
Jessica is a Dental Hygiene Therapist with the Bhandal Dental Practice and qualified from the University of Birmingham in June 2011. She is qualified in giving RA Sedation and is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. Jessica enjoys working with children and has taught oral health education at a local primary school.
Natasha qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist She graduated from the University of Birmingham in June 2012 and joined the Bhandal Dental Practice shortly after. Natasha enjoys treating people with periodontal disease and extensive restorative care and finds treating nervous patients very rewarding.
Mrs Aikaterini Rousea graduated with distinction from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1998. Following graduation, she completed a postgraduate course in Paediatric Dentistry. She relocated in the UK in 2000, and joined the Light Lane Dental Surgery team in February 2001. She has also practised at the Maxillofacial Unit of Coventry Hospital. In 2010, she was awarded a postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry following completion of a year long Multi-system Implant Course in Manchester.
She takes great pride in treating children as well as nervous patients of all ages. She attends numerous courses and lectures worldwide to ensure that her professional skills and knowledge are up to date. Her special interests include Orthodontics (accepting NHS and private referrals), Cerec Restorations, Aesthetic dentistry and Dental Implant Therapy. She has recently completed a course on facial rejuvenation.
I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2006 and have since worked in Bedworth, London and Coventry.I joined Light Lane dental practice in 2011 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Working at this practice has given me the opportunity to go out into the community.This along with treating anxious/dental phobic patients provides me with a lot of job satisfaction.I generally enjoy all aspects of dentistry but have a particular interest in Endodontics and Cosmetic dentistry. I have further reinforced this by branching out and providing facial aesthetic treatments such as Botox and Dermal Fillers.Last year I completed my MFDS qualification and am now a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.Aside from my first language English, I am also fluent in Punjabi and can communicate well in Hindi and Urdu.
I studied at the university of Newcastle upon Tyne and graduated in 2006. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of dentistry but take a particular interest in working with anxious patients and children. I hope to go on to do a post graduate course in restorative dentistry.
